It truly is a wonderful life!

Tonight our church had a movie night shoing “It’s A Wonderful Life.” We couldn’t go because of kiddos still not being 100% healthy. Since this is one of our favorite holiday movies we decided to go ahead and watch it as a family at home.

It never fails, every single time I watch this movie I have some sort of dust that gets in my eyes. Seriously tho, at the very end when all of the people impacted by George Bailey comes and supports him by giving money to help replace the money lost, I lose it!

I just can’t help but weep at the thought of all the love shown to this man who, just a few minutes before, thought he wasn’t worth a cent. George Bailey is given a gift. Thinking he has such an awful life, he’s shown just how wonderful it really is. Like Harry Bailey says at the end…he is the richest man in town because having true riches is having friends and loved ones.

Life is not about getting stuff, it is about touching peoples lives, and living life with them, in the good times and the bad.

God uses us to impact our culture and communities around us in ways we may never realize.

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

What better way to impact our culture and community than sharing with them about Christ?

This Christmas don’t worry about how much stuff you get, instead look at how many lives you can impact with this message of Love that truly brings “A wonderful life”
